Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines supporting MADD Canada efforts Leading Canadian transportation company to sponsor Strides for Change events Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines Limited (M-O®) and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD Canada) today announce the transportation company's sponsorship of the annual Strides for Change campaign, community walks for awareness of impaired driving that are organized by local MADD Canada Chapters across Canada every summer. This year MADD Canada Chapters are hosting at least 25 Strides for Change events from April through October. The first events are being held April 19th in Williams Lake, B.C. and Renfrew, Ontario. Chapters use these walks to educate the public about impaired driving, provide support to victims in the community and as a means of fundraising, with all money raised going to support the mission of MADD Canada. M-O is the Event Sponsor of Strides for Change for the next three years, pledging a total of $75,000. The sponsorship is being made possible through the Graham Munro Charitable Foundation. Doug Munro, President of M-O says, "Considering the importance of the issue of impaired driving, we are pleased to be able to assist MADD Canada with this very worthwhile cause as it continues to bring awareness of this difficult and important problem to people in communities across Canada." "The Strides for Change initiative raises awareness and gets a whole community involved in the fight against impaired driving," says Margaret Miller, MADD Canada's National President. "M-O's involvement and support with this campaign will provide an opportunity to add more local events in the years to come and ensure our message to not drive impaired by alcohol and/or drugs will be delivered to more Canadians, more often." "Our volunteers attempt to keep sober driving top-of-mind through the summer months, when we see far too many impaired driving incidents occur. The Strides for Change walkathon is very much community-based and it motivates local residents to help make a different with their friends and neighbours." MADD Canada's President adds, "It is tremendous knowing M-O will be with us every step of the way." Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines Limited (M-O®) was established in 1962 and is experienced in transportation of LTL (less than truckload) and truckload freight between Ontario, Quebec as well as eastern and Western Canada. M-O is leading the way to more efficient, consistent and innovative methods of transporting freight. Serving an active client base of more than 5,000, M-O has a solid reputation and is the recipient of numerous awards, including Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies and The Ontario Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business Achievement Award. The Graham Munro Charitable Foundation (CRN: 895304285RR0001) was established in November 1986 and is a private foundation ranked 438 in the top Canadians foundations by assets.

M-O RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF CANADA'S 50 BEST
The last few weeks have not been easy for anyone. We have had snow storm after snow storm, weather delays, cold temperatures, derailments to contend with and many other issues both personal and work related to contend with. All of us at M-O would like to thank you our customers for their patience and continued support.
It is with pleasure that we announce that the committee who awards the nominations for the 50 Best Managed (Private) Companies in Canada on February 12 announced that M-O is a recipient of the 2007 - 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada. This is M-O's 5th consecutive year that we have re-qualified for this prestigious award. 2008 is an important year for us because if we make it another year we will be joining the Platinum Group of award winners which thus far only a small percentage of award winning companies in Canada have attained this level. Our growth over the last 5 years and our overall market penetration across Canada is due primarily for two reasons, our Customers and our Employees.
On behalf of everyone at M-O we would like to take this opportunity to once again simply say a big thank you to all our customers for their support and our employees, partners and agents across Canada for their hard work and dedication.
