Service Update: Post Tropical Storm Update - October 3, 2022

Sydney
Power and communications were restored this past weekend. We have resumed pickup and delivery operations in the region. Please note that service to remote municipalities in Cape Breton may still be impacted due to the conditions in the area. We are anticipating a 24 hour delay as we clear through the backlog.

Dartmouth
We are fully staffed and operational for all Pickups and Deliveries.

Charlottetown
We have resumed regular P&D operations.
Note: Service to remote municipalities in PEI may still be impacted with further delays due to the conditions in the area.

Newfoundland & Labrador
We have resumed regular P&D Operations.
Note: Cities along Newfoundland’s west coast may still face further delays as clean up efforts continue.

  1. Weather Advisory: PEI – Bridge Traffic Restriction due to high winds – November 10, 2025
  2. Remembrance Day Notice: M-O Terminal Schedule changes:       

    In honour of Remembrance Day, Maritime-Ontario Freightworks terminals in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Atlantic Canada will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025.

    Terminals in Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec will remain open and operating as normal.

    Regular operations will resume at all locations on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025.

    On this day, we pause to remember and honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country and protected the freedoms we enjoy today.
