Special Weather Statement: Extreme Cold and Snow Warning – January 20, 2025

We would like to inform you of an extreme weather warning affecting parts of the Maritimes, the Prairies, Northern Ontario and the Midwest towards Chicago.
Over the next several days these regions are expected to experience severe cold and/or heavy snowfall.
These challenging conditions will impact road travel and necessitate enhanced rail safety measures such as reduced train lengths, to ensure safe and efficient movement of your goods.
We remain dedicated to minimizing disruptions during this period.

  1. Weather Advisory: PEI – Bridge Traffic Restriction due to high winds – November 10, 2025
  2. Remembrance Day Notice: M-O Terminal Schedule changes:       

    In honour of Remembrance Day, Maritime-Ontario Freightworks terminals in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, and Atlantic Canada will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025.

    Terminals in Ontario, Manitoba, and Quebec will remain open and operating as normal.

    Regular operations will resume at all locations on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025.

    On this day, we pause to remember and honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our country and protected the freedoms we enjoy today.
