Service Update: Atlantic Canada Updates – February 6, 2024

Please see below for the current updates following the extreme snowfall in Atlantic Canada.

The following locations have returned to normal operations, with no anticipated delays:
– Saint John, NB
– Cornerbrook, NL
– Gander, NL
– St. John, NL

The following locations have returned to normal operations, with the anticipation of minor delays while the backlog is addressed:
– Moncton, NB
– Halifax, NS

The following locations have resumed operations, with the anticipation of 24-48 hour delays in remote rural areas:
– Charlottetown, PEI

The following locations remain in a state of emergency, with the anticipation 24-48 hour delays while lane access remains restricted:
– Sydney, NS

Service Update: Delays Anticipated in Atlantic Canada Due to Extreme Snowfall – February 5, 2024

Please note that with the extreme snowfall in Atlantic Canada over this past weekend, delays will be expected as the local cities prepare the clean-up process. Terminals throughout Nova Scotia, South Eastern New Brunswick, PEI, and Western and Central Newfoundland have been affected by the extreme snowfall, and are expected to see approximately 48-72 hours of delay in service. We will continue monitoring the situation closely and providing updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Anticipated in Nova Scotia Due to Extreme Snowfall – February 4, 2024

Please note that with Cape Breton declaring a state of emergency due to the weather, and Halifax anticipating an additional 15cm of snow overnight, further delays are anticipated throughout Nova Scotia. We will closely monitor the situation and provide updates promptly as they become available.

Service Update: Closure of Dartmouth Terminal Due to Extreme Snowfall – February 3, 2024

Please note that delays are expected across the Halifax region due to the closure of the Dartmouth Terminal caused by heavy snowfall. We will keep a close eye on the situation and share updates as soon as they are available. The terminal will resume operations once weather conditions improve.

Service Update: Delays Possible in NS – February 2, 2024

Please note that delays may be possible over the next 24-48 hours throughout the Halifax area due to the expected snowfall of 30-80cm. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Marine Atlantic Updates – January 29, 2024

Please note that delays may be possible as Marine Atlantic has cancelled their morning sails for today. They anticipate to resume sailings by this evening, however we will continue to monitor the situation and provide any updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible in NS – January 29, 2024

Please note that delays of 24-48 hours may be possible in the Halifax area due to the heavy snowfall. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible in Eastern NL – January 29, 2024

Please note that delays of 24-48 hours may be possible within the Eastern area of NL, as a result of our terminal closing at 1PM due to the extreme weather. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates as they become available.

Service Update: Delays Possible in ON & QC – January 25, 2024

Please note that pickup and delivery delays are expected throughout Ottawa and Montreal due to icy road conditions. We will continue to monitor the situation and provides any available updates.

Service Update: Marine Atlantic Updates – January 25, 2024

Please note that as a result of previous sailing cancellations in Newfoundland, delays of 24-48 hours are expected as the backlog is cleared. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as they become available.
