Please be advised that rail operations are currently being disrupted due to a wildfire in Northern Ontario between Sioux Lookout and Armstrong. This disruption is impacting the movement of intermodal trains between Brampton and terminals across Western Canada.
Access restrictions remain in effect, and portions of the affected area may be closed or under evacuation orders as a precaution. We are awaiting confirmation from the appropriate authorities that conditions are safe for rail operations to resume.
In the meantime, our local pickup and delivery (P&D) services will continue to operate as scheduled, and outbound cargo will continue to be accepted and loaded. Shipments will be held and released once rail service resumes.
While delays are expected, CN has not provided an estimated time for the affected track to reopen.
We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and continued support.
