Weather Advisory: PEI – Bridge Traffic Restriction due to high winds – November 10, 2025

Dear Valued Customer,

For user safety, the Confederation Bridge has restricted certain classes of vehicles from crossing until the current high wind situation changes. Restricted classes include automobiles towing trailers, motorcycles, highsided vehicles including trucks, tractor trailers, recreational vehicles, and buses. Bridge restrictions were put into place at 10:20hrs, November 10, 2025. You will be advised when the situation changes.

Weather Advisory: Regina – Delays caused by track integrity – November 5, 2025

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be advised that due to heavy rainfall in Regina over the past 24 hours, the CP Tyvan Subdivision has been taken out of service. The closure is expected to last approximately 48 hours to ensure track integrity and safe operating conditions.
As a result, CN will be unable to provide rail service into our Regina Terminal during this period. Trains will be staged at our Melville Subdivision until service resumes.
Our Regina Terminal will remain open for cartage activity; however, we will be closely monitoring conditions to ensure continued safety.

We appreciate your understanding and will provide updates as the situation evolves.

Important Service Update: Oceanex Avalon Dry Dock Schedule – May 8, 2025

Please be advised that the Oceanex Avalon will undergo scheduled dry docking in Montreal beginning Monday, May 26, 2025, for approximately two weeks. The vessel is expected to resume regular service during the week of June 9, 2025.

The last loaded sailing to St. John’s will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Upon arrival in St. John’s on Friday, May 23, 2025, the vessel will discharge cargo and then sail empty to dry dock.
We recommend that you adjust your shipment planning accordingly to minimize any disruption. For further information or assistance, please contact our Customer Service team.

Service Update: Weather-Related Delays – February 18, 2025​

Due to severe winter conditions, our operations in the East are experiencing significant delays:
• PEI Terminal: Closed until further notice.
• Eastern Terminals: Running 24–36 hours behind schedule due to severe weather and icy conditions.
• Quebec: Over 85 cm of snowfall has impacted the region. The city is gradually recovering, but services are delayed by 24–48 hours.
• Ontario Terminals: Heavy snowfall over several days has caused delays of 24–48 hours, though all terminals remain operational.
