Heavy snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and strong winds will impact eastern Newfoundland through Tuesday. 20-40 cm of snow is forecast for parts of the northern Avalon including St. John’s. Strong wind gusts are expected to peak near 90 km/h, which could lead to blizzard-like conditions for places like St. Johns and surrounding communities along the northeast coast of Newfoundland.
